After a major illness and the desire to get fitter I joined Rising Sun. Right from the start Jamie was supportive and kind, he has the special ability of knowing exactly how far he can push you to make improvements in your technique and fitness, but manages to keep things fun at the same time. I’m so pleased that I plucked up the courage to make that initial phone call, a year on I’ve done two belts, lost weight, my body works better, I’ve made some wonderful friends and I am happy. I put this all down to coming here. This is a wonderful club, you really should come along and give it a try.

I’m very impressed with Jamie who we are fortunate to have as a Sensei. He is an excellent teacher -firm yet fun . He has truly helped them to reach their full potential.

Sensei is pleased to announce the addition of a dojo in New-Haw with sessions every Thursday, juniors 6-7pm, seniors 8-9pm. The hall is available during the break (7-8pm) and members are welcome to use it for training.
