Locations

We practice Shotokan Karate at several locations in Surrey:

• St. John’s in the Aerobics/Dance studio (lower level hall) at the Winston Churchill School Sports Centre, with sessions every Saturday from 12:00 till 14:00
• St. John’s in the Aerobics/Dance studio (lower level hall) at the Winston Churchill School Sports Centre, with sessions every Tuesday from 18:00 till 19:00
• New Haw in Studio 1 at the Fullbrook School Sports Centre, with sessions every Thursday from 19:00 till 21:00

Affiliated clubs

The Rising Sun Karate Academy is affiliated with the KUGB, the largest karate association in the UK. In particular we train closely with these clubs:

• Egham Shotokan Karate Club, with chief instructor Sensei Dave Austin, 5^th dan
• Kenmei Karate Club in Sutton, with chief instructor Sensei Avi Wolfsthal, 1^st dan.
• Kanshin Karate Club in Guildford, with chief instructor Sensei Neil Jerome, 4^th dan.

Members of the Rising Sun Karate Academy are always welcome to train at those clubs.
