We will have a special “wear your own” session on Saturday, 2 February. Training will be as usual, so please wear something comfortable and please no jewelery. Gis and belts are strictly forbidden!
Kenmei Karate in Sutton will be celebrating their 2nd birthday on Monday, 28 January. The intrepid Sensei Neil Jemore will battle through 100 rounds of kumite against anyone brave enough to face him. Spectators and opponents are welcome. This is a charity event and all proceeds will go to the MHE Support Group (Hereditary Multiple Exostoses). There will be a £5 donation admission fee if you attend the lesson prior to the event or you can donate online. The lesson will begin as per usual at 19:00 followed by the charity event at 20:00. On Saturday, 26 January, Sensei Jamie will be away for the squad selection. Instead Sensei Malcolm Williams from Egham Karate club will be teaching the lesson.
The next grading will take place in Woking at the Winston Churchill Sports Centre on Sunday, 20January, with Sensei Bob Poynton.

Next Saturday, November 17th, Sensei Jamie and students from the club will be competing at the 42nd Portsmouth Open Karate Tournament. Sensei Malcolm Williams from Egham Karate Club will be teaching instead of Sensei Jamie. We would like to wish everyone competing in Portsmouth the best of luck!
